Abstract: Thirty-eight years experience providing, evidence-based support for physicians, attorneys, government, individuals, and industry. Doctor Colucci’s medical Audiology experience is in hearing and balance disorders serving pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients. Additionally, his teaching experience has been at multiple venues, which include courses on amplification, acoustics, hearing and balance disorders, speech analysis and production, industrial hearing conservation, fetal noise protection, and diagnostic testing protocols. Experience in determining the hearing needs and placement for early childhood intervention and school programs is part of his private practice activities over the past three decades. Dr. Colucci has extensive experience in medical/legal and forensic analysis as a provider, consultant, or expert witness for a number of companies, agencies, and municipalities. These include British Petroleum, The City of Santa Ana, The U.S. Department of Commerce, Weyerhaeuser, Kaiser Hospitals, The City and County of Los Angeles, The Department of Labor, Chevron, Shell Oil, Conoco, Valero Petroleum, and the San Onofre Neuclear Power Station. Dr. Colucci has special interest and skill in writing hearing instrument prescription. His doctoral project was to assess noise reduction microphone systems and write sound prescriptions for seniors in their 7th and 8th decades of life. The results of this study are exceptional outcomes and hearing abilities for his patients who use amplification devices.
